A Trip to Annecy

9th July (a Saturday) was our trip to Annecy, a town in France, with a beautiful lake and city. It was the first far away trip with the Openlab group, a great chance to make new friends and talk more to more colleagues 😀. We took the morning bus from Geneva Airport to Annecy, and returned in the evening after spending the whole day there.

It was a very hot day. Unfortunately I could not get a boat ride and enjoy the scenic beauty of the lake and hills more, but the sun burn and sweat was worth it!

Palais De L’Ile below is one of the most photographed places of France, and I believe it is evident why.

Musee Chateau

The castle and the museum give a beautiful panoramic view of the city and its heritage.

In the end, just a small tip! Do not order Fish n Chips!!! 😥 You’ll end up killing a million tiny fish instead of one 😥
